Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Per Diem Home Care
@Home Therapy is seeking licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to provide in-home therapy throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Long Island. This flexible per diem opportunity is ideal for PTAs interested in building a caseload within their preferred locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide treatment under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist.
- Follow established plans of care.
- Help patients improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety.
- Complete documentation accurately and on time.
- Communicate patient progress and concerns to the supervising therapist.
Requirements:
- Current New York State PTA license.
- Physical Therapist Assistant degree from an accredited program.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patients.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- A business entity is required for independent contractor engagement.
