@Home Therapy is seeking a full-time Secretary to support our in-home PT, OT, and SLP services. This in-office role is key to coordinating care for patients receiving therapy in their homes—from referral through ongoing treatment.
Role Overview:
You will manage patient intake, coordinate therapist scheduling, and serve as the central point of communication between patients, clinicians, and the team - ensuring timely, high-quality in-home care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new patient referrals, onboarding, and insurance verification.
- Schedule and assign therapists based on location and availability.
- Track active patients, visits, and documentation in the EMR.
- Communicate with therapists and patients for scheduling and follow-ups.
- Handle inbound calls and patient inquiries.
- Maintain accurate, organized patient records.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year in a medical or administrative office.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with computers and data entry (EMR experience a plus).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
